Work is complete (well, almost!), packing is done (well, almost!), the house is a shambles and I've had too little sleep but ... the time has come to leave everything behind. Our 7-week escapade is upon us and shortly Brett and I will be heading to the airport, winging our way to Singapore. Then to France, Spain, Portugal and Morocco. And home via Shanghai.
So much I will miss ...
Home, kids, cat. Family. Friends. Quiz night. Racing. My studio.
I will, however, not miss these dismal Auckland days.
Onto warmer climes and new experiences ...
Observation of the Day: How is it that, when you tick one thing off, two more things make it to the already rather frightening "to-do" list?
